Viktor Orbán congratulated Benjamin Netanyahu on his victory

In a post on his official Facebook page, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán congratulated Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday’s Israeli election results, which will most likely see the former prime minister and opposition leader for the past year and a half take over the leadership of the Jewish state.

In his post, Orbán states:

„In difficult times, we need strong leaders. Congratulations on the big comeback to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a friend of Hungary.”

The prime minister placed a Hungarian and an Israeli flag at the end.

In the photograph accompanying the post, Viktor Orbán is holding Netanyahu’s recently published autobiography, Bibi — My Story, with the caption “Mazel tov!”

Interestingly, Netanyahu’s son, Yair Netanyahu, was the first to comment on the post.
