„Péter Márki-Zay should disappear from public life,” Péter Breuer told Magyar Nemzet.
The owner-director of Heti TV, the only Jewish-themed TV channel in Europe, was reacting to the opposition prime ministerial candidate’s live Facebook post this past Sunday evening, in which he said that „there are some Jews in Fidesz, although quite few.”
I started to worry when Márki-Zay said in his speech after winning the primary election that „we will embrace every Gypsy, every Jew, every gay, every disabled person with love, as Hungarians.”
– Breuer added. He said that the left’s candidate for prime minister was incompetent in all respects and that the parties behind him are showing just how destitute they are for supporting Márki-Zay.
The mayor of Hódmezővásárhely is in politics with the right-wing who previously talked about the need to list Jewish members of parliament and government, and now he himself has admitted that he has a list of Fidesz members of Jewish origin
– the director of Heti TV noted.
There is a problem with Péter Márki-Zay and his worldview because a true Christian or right-winger does not behave like this, and the opposition candidate cannot speak the language of the people
– Breuer underlined.
According to him, what really blew his fuse was when Márki-Zay referred to Arthur J. Finkelstein, who died in 2017, as „a gay, homophobic, Jewish advisor to Orbán.”
What makes Márki-Zay a Christian if he has no respect for the living or the dead?
– asked Péter Breuer. He further commented:
What the left’s candidate for prime minister says goes beyond the bounds of good taste and the law.
